  • Applications for planning permission and erecting buildings received from the One Stop Centre Unit and site inspection are made within a period of 7 days.
  • Submission of planning and building reviews within a period of 7 days to the One Stop Centre Unit.
  • Applications to build detached houses, multiple-storied buildings, housing projects and factories which are not problematic approved within a period of 4 weeks.
  • Applications for amendment plans and minor changes within a period of two (2) weeks subject to compliance with technical requirements.
  • Problematic applications are brought forth to the OSC Committee Meeting for recommendations to the Full Meeting of Tumpat District Council within a period of 1 month.
  • Certificate of Fitness for Occupation is approved within a period of 14 days from the receipt date of Form E (Uniform Building By-laws), enclosed with the applicant’s declaration letter and is not problematic.
  • Problematic SKD applications are brought forth to the OSC Committee Meeting for recommendation to full meeting for a decision within a period of 2 months.
  • Permit applications for minor works will be processed within a period of 2 weeks.
  • Permit applications will be brought forth to the Planning and Building Committee Meeting for recommendation to the Full Meeting of Tumpat District Council.
  • Preparation of planning reviews for applications of land conversion, land subdivision, land boundary subdivision, surrender and re-alienation, government land rental, government land ownership and consolidation of land lots to the Tumpat Land and Territories Office.
